Belle of the bargain ball

My (50% off) gown arrived today for a gala I am attending on Saturday.  I put it on, then added 4 inch heels.  The dress was still a solid 8 inches too long.  Frantic search for speedy - cheap - alterations option ensues.

Well, the result was so excellent that I have to share!  With a Nordstroms credit or debit card you get $100 of free alterations a year.  And, free parking at Merrick Park.  Amazing.

Do you see those mani/pedi deals every day but don't need a pedi that often?  Well, it's official I've seen a mani only deal for the first time ever and it's a good one.  $8 for a manicure in South Miami.  Too bad I can only buy one!

On a side note, did you know there is no word for toes in Spanish? This bothers me. A lot.
