What did you do tonight?


Me.... I went to IHOP for free pancakes.


Then, I stopped at Publix on my way home and picked up four free pints of Talenti.  What is Talenti?  I'm not sure actually.  The package implies it is both sorbet and gelato.  I would just place it in the ice cream family.  The salted caramel flavor is in the very yummy ice cream family.  Can't wait to sample some of the other free flavors I got!


I hope that you took advantage of the free pancakes - and then donated to Miami Children's Hospital like I did! The Talenti is a little tougher. I had BOGO coupons, and it is BOGO this week at Publix, so that means two free per coupon.  Can't beat it. 


Now, if only diet coke was on sale somewhere this week....

Six boxes of Pop Tarts for $2 sounds like a phenomenal deal, and I don't know that I have ever even eaten a pop tart!

Publix is going to have Pop Tarts on BOGO in the coming week's sale.  Two boxes for $2.09.  Buy 6 boxes ($6.27) and then use two $1 off of 3 Target coupons and two $1 off of 3 manufacturer coupons to bring your cost down to $2.27.

The sale doesn't start until Thursday, but print two of each of these coupons before they are gone.

There are going to be some lucky homeless people on my corner if it turns out I don't like pop tarts.  Have any flavor recommendations for me?

Buy theirs, get ours at Publix

Have you heard of these before?  Publix runs them every so often to promote their store brands.  If you buy the name brand product, you can get the store brand for free.

Now, here are my thoughts on store brand.  I'm a fan.  In fact, before I started couponing, I was a store brand loyalist.  But, recently, I have come to realize that you can often get the name brand for cheaper if you play your coupons and sales right.  But, for an easier deal, this is a good one!

Go hair free, for free

The folks over at Bic were kind enough to release a nice high value coupon just as their razors are on BOGO at Publix.  

Like their Facebook page to print the $3 off coupon, then hit your back button until it prints a second time.  Take your two coupons in and not only will your razors be free, but they'll actually be a money maker!  Make sure you're buying something else, some stores won't give you money back so your total will need to cover the overage.

Today through Tuesday (4/19), all women's tops are BOGO at Gap!  My birthday gift certificate (thanks!!) and I may be making this a part of our weekend.

Publix deals

If you want the full rundown on deals of the week - this week and every week - at Publix, I highly recommend that you follow iheartpublix.com.  WAY more comprehensive than this list.  But, here are some of the things that caught my eye and stand a good chance of making it to my grocery list:

First and foremost.... Kraft shredded cheese is on sale.  3 bags for $5.  On top of that, there are some printable coupons.  $0.50/1 and $1/2.  Print them both and grab three bags for a super low $3.50.  This is especially well timed for my week long matzo pizza fest that is about to begin!

The rest of my list is all BOGO deals and includes:

Velveeta shells and cheese

Fresh Express bagged salads

and

YoPlus Yogurt

The yogurt is $2 and on BOGO sale, so print two of this coupon and it's yours for free!
