It's ba-ack!

I hope you can hear my voice how I hear it when you read that title....

Regardless.... gas card deal at Publix is back.  You can get $10 off of a $50 gas card for every $25 you spend.  Shop away!

Winner of a night

What did you do tonight?

Me.... I went to IHOP for free pancakes.

Then, I stopped at Publix on my way home and picked up four free pints of Talenti.  What is Talenti?  I'm not sure actually.  The package implies it is both sorbet and gelato.  I would just place it in the ice cream family.  The salted caramel flavor is in the very yummy ice cream family.  Can't wait to sample some of the other free flavors I got!

I hope that you took advantage of the free pancakes - and then donated to Miami Children's Hospital like I did! The Talenti is a little tougher. I had BOGO coupons, and it is BOGO this week at Publix, so that means two free per coupon.  Can't beat it.

Now, if only diet coke was on sale somewhere this week....

Got gas?

Grab your gas cards this week at Publix!!  Remember, if you spend $25, you get $10 off of a $50 gas card.  That's a 20% discount.

On my shopping list this week:

Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs or Snackwell Cookies, Brownie Bites, or Caramel Popcorn, 3.7 to 7.75 oz box, BOGO $3.19 -$1/1 SnackWell’s cookies, pretzels, popcorn or any variety of Nabisco 100 Calorie Packs

As low as 60¢ per item.

Cause for celebration

That's right.... for the week of 11/25-11/30 Publix gas cards are back!

Get a $10 off of a $50 gas card for every $25 you spend at Publix.

Cheap, cheap

Publix has a great deal on chicken this week.  Boneless, skinless chicken breasts for $1.99 a pound.

At this price, you should buy what you need and then stock your freezer too.

Peanut butter follow up

If you don't do the warehouse stores, then Publix is offering you a stock up worthy peanut butter deal starting Thursday.

Skippy Peanut Butter 15 to 16.3 oz jars for $1.99 each.

Get two for just $1.38 when you use two of these coupons:
-$1/1 Skippy Product Publix Better Eating Better Living Printable Coupon

and one of these:
-$0.60/2 Skippy Peanut Butter Products Rolling

Not sure what I'm talking about?  Read this post...

Cheap yogurt!

La Creme yogurt 4 packs are on sale for $1.50 each this week at Publix.  With the Yellow Advantage coupon for $1.00 off (pick it up at the entrance), that's a great deal.

Too bad they don't have a low fat/fat free version.

Slacker

I have been slacking. On posting and on my deals for me too. This past week, I only did one small Publix run. But, i have to admit, it was a good one!

I walked in with two coupons, my keys, and my phone. I walked out with two bags of lettuce, two bananas, 47 cents, my keys, and my phone.

That's right - they paid me to take the food!

Proud as a peacock

Let's discuss tonight's Publix run.

Here is what I got:
A big bag of Ore Ida sweet potato fries
2 containers of Philadelphia cooking creme
1 Yoplait yogurt
A box of 8 Jif peanut butter singles
4 boxes (the mid size) of Cinnamon Toast Crunch
1 bottle Pantene 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner
2 boxes of Ronzoni Fettuccine
A $50 gas card

Want to guess how much I paid?  Come on.... take a guess... and don't forget that $50 gas card.  And all those groceries.

Drumroll please....

$31.09

Hold off on your shopping

That's right - discounted gas cards are coming back to Publix again starting on Thursday!

For every $25 you spend on groceries, you can get $10 off of a $50 gas card.  That's a hefty 20% discount on gas.  Amazing.

And, don't forget, it's $25 BEFORE coupons!  If that wasn't enough reason to coupon, let me tell you about my purchase yesterday.  I handed the cashier three coupons and two dimes and walked out with two jars of skippy peanut butter.  Really. Skippy is on BOGO for $2.95.  I had two manufacturer coupons for $1 off  and one competitor coupon (Target) for 75 cents off.  Total, 20 cents.

Next to nothing

Six boxes of Pop Tarts for $2 sounds like a phenomenal deal, and I don't know that I have ever even eaten a pop tart!

Publix is going to have Pop Tarts on BOGO in the coming week's sale.  Two boxes for $2.09.  Buy 6 boxes ($6.27) and then use two $1 off of 3 Target coupons and two $1 off of 3 manufacturer coupons to bring your cost down to $2.27.

The sale doesn't start until Thursday, but print two of each of these coupons before they are gone.

There are going to be some lucky homeless people on my corner if it turns out I don't like pop tarts.  Have any flavor recommendations for me?

Half price cereal

This weekend (Saturday 8/23 and Sunday 8/24) Kelloggs Cereal is 50% off at Publix!

Pair this with some coupons (see iheartPublix's list for some printables) and you'll score yourself a great deal.

Too bad I don't have any Crispix coupons sitting around - my fave from the Kellogg line up.

Forever young

The path to eternal youth in snack form -- Goldfish!

I know that I already sang you the goldfish song, but here's another super exciting goldfish deal.  Starting tomorrow, goldfishies are on sale at Publix for $1 each.  For the normal size bag!  And, you can print a coupon for 55 cents off each bag here.  That's just 45 cents for each bag if you use the coupon!

Is it bad if I buy 25 bags of goldfish crackers to get my gas card discount?

Change for a Change

This is one of my favorites of all the blog posts I read all week.  It doesn't have the pretty pictures, or crafty tutorials, but it offers a simple guide to make a difference.

Each week Zeal for a Deal posts a Change for a Change post.  Here's this week's Publix.  This week is a good week since you can get a lot even if you only use the printable coupons.  Please check it out and find out how you can make a difference by picking up $35 worth of groceries for just $3.72.

Great fodder for that donation box!

Thanks so much Zeal for a Deal for helping us all do some good.

Wait, it's worth it

It's back - or will be....

The $10 off a $50 gas card at Publix deal is going to be running again next week.  20% off of gas is pretty phenomenal, and much needed these days.

My recommendation is to hold off on buying anything you don't need before Thursday so you can get as many of these as possible next week.

Laziness prevails

Are you a bagged lettuce or a whole lettuce type of person?  I just had this conversation with a friend, and I hate to admit it, but I love the convenience of prewashed/precut/ready to go bagged lettuce.

If you're like me, here's a great coupon for you!  "Like" Fresh Express on Facebook and you can print a coupon for $1 off a bagged salad.  Print two and then hang onto them for a BOGO week to score a nice deal.  {That link doesn't seem to be working.... try this one!}

There is also BOGO and store coupons for Wishbone salad dressing at Publix right now.  You should be able to pick these coupons up on the cardboard displays by the entrance.
