Retro deal

Today on Groupon Goods, a retro handset for your phone is $15.  This could solve the "pushing buttons with my face" problem.  Sign me up!

Point for Miami

We have urban races!  Who knew?

And, today you can participate in one at a discount.  Grab today's Groupon for your entry into the Gorilla Challenge Urban-Adventure Race for just $25.  Or, you could get their other deal for a mani/pedi, but that's just lame in comparison.

I have always been jealous of friends who participate in these urban races in other cities, so now it is our turn.  May the best team win!

Half price fruit and spice

Or, at least admission to the park!  $4 for an admission to the Fruit and Spice Park in Homestead.

Have you been to this place?  It's been on my list for a long time.  Read the description... you can help yourself to anything on the ground.  I wish the Groupon had come out before mango season :-)

And, last chance to grab the Groupon for Everybody Wins! South Florida.

A chocolate treat

$8 for $16 Worth of Chocolate and Treats at Schakolad Chocolate Factory  This stuff is yummy!

And, don't forget about the great Groupon deal this week!  Get your deal and support Everybody Wins! South Florida.  We need 40 to reach the tipping point, so please get yours today and tell friends too.  100% of the deal comes directly to the organization, Groupon absorbs the credit card fees.

Important deals today!

Most important - Groupon is doing a deal to benefit Everybody Wins! South Florida, the literacy and mentoring organization where I work.  Please get the deal for just $8 to support matching second and third graders with reading mentors.  We need 40 people to do the deal in order to reach the tipping point.  The best part is that Groupon absorbs all of the credit card fees so 100% of your purchase will go directly to benefit students.

Favorite daily deals

Better late than never.... a lot of the Friday deals go through the weekend so you should be okay with these still.

$10 for two tickets to the Miami Home Design and Remodeling Show

$25 for $50 of drive through groceries from FarmGroceries.com  (Really cool.  Really.  Read what I wrote about it yesterday).

$49 for two-hour introduction to sailing group lesson ($39 for kids)

$15 for a mani/pedi (wow, I wish that this place was further East!!)

Good fortune

Fortune: Food bought with deal tastes better. In bed.

$10 for $20 at Confucio Express

This is the new place in my neighborhood that I'm excited to try.  How convenient for them to be on today's Groupon!!

Oh, and your lottery numbers are: 3 - 22 - 36 - 8 - 17

Yoga

So, I was surprised to see MBee Yoga Studio on THREE daily deal sites today.  I'm pretty sure they all make you sign contracts about not doing that.  Interesting...

Here's the cool part about this yoga studio.  It's in an "ancient spanish monestary".  Which, I put in quotes because we don't really have so much ancient stuff in Miami.  But, it sure looks cool!

Anyhow, here are those three links:

$25 for 5 classes on Groupon
$25 for 5 classes on iCoupon
$25 for 5 classes on DealOn

But, before you buy this, I happen to have heard from a reliable source that my favorite yoga studio, Green Monkey, will be featured on Living Social tomorrow.  If I were you, I'd hold out.  Oh, and if you've never been to Green Monkey before and want to try three classes free, let me know... I can make that happen.

Great Groupons

Banner day for Groupon, all of my faves for the day can be found there:

$25 for $50 Worth of Fashion Apparel and Accessories at Mango (Ft. Lauderdale)

$119 for One-Night Stay for Two with Breakfast and Valet Parking at Moonrise Hotel in St. Louis (Getaways) This is a great hotel, right near Wash U

$25 for Sunset Cruise or Eco Tour and Reef Snorkel for Two or Four in Tavernier

Mixed feelings

At first, I was very excited about this Groupon offer:

$15 for $30 to spend at George's in the Grove.

Great, right?  This restaurant gets rave reviews and I have been meaning to go there.  The main complaint I heard is that it is a little pricey.  In steps Groupon to solve that.

Except for two things.  First, the weekend option (really, separate options?) is sold out.  Fine, I can get a weeknight one.  But then there is the second thing.  A big huge red flag that is enough to stop me in my tracks.  The fine print includes this winner: Expiration varies.  What does that even mean?  In the end, I think I will pass on this one, but wanted to share it since it does have some appeal.  I mean, give it an any day of the week usability and one year from now expiration and I would have been all over that.

Old Navy deal is back

This is a great deal on Groupon, and it's low risk too!

Pay just $10 for $20 worth of clothes at Old Navy.

I wanted to give you the direct link since it's tricky to find, but if you have never purchased from Groupon before, please use this link to sign up first.

Read what I wrote last time to see why it's so low risk.

Get it now, before it's gone!

Today's "national/online" Groupon is a great one.  Especially with summer (a.k.a. hurricane season) having just arrived.

For just $10, you can get $20 to spend at Old Navy.  And, I love this part, if you forget to use it by the expiration, you don't even lose anything.  You can still cash it in for $10 of merchandise after it expires, but I wouldn't advise waiting!

Half price theater tickets

Today's a great one!  Every year I go see Summer Shorts, and every year I wait to buy my tickets until I find a great deal.  This might be the one.

Summer Shorts - $22 for a general admission ticket.  Your choice of 9 different performance times.

At the risk of beating a dead horse:

There's a good pizza deal today.  I have seen this one all over the place, but just in case you missed it....

You can pick up a Groupon for a large pizza from Domino's, with up to 10 toppings, for just $8.  If you don't see the deal, click up top where it says "All Deals". Pay attention though - this one expires on May 19, 2011, plus you must order online and it is good only for carry out.

I know this is a cheese pizza and the Groupon is good for a ton of toppings, but I couldn't find a multi-topping pizza picture without mushrooms.  And, I hate mushrooms.
