I love the 80's

Through May 8, you can use code MOM for 80% off your purchase at restaurant.com.  These sales come around every so often and I try to only buy when I can get the 80% off deal.

Not sure what I'm talking about?  Read this past post for more details.

Free admission to public gardens

Get ready to celebrate National Public Gardens Day (May 6) by signing up for free admission to your local public garden.

Fairchild Tropical Botanical Gardens and many others are participating in this offer, check it out today.

Free prints, lots of them!

Through May 4, you can get 101 free prints from Shutterfly.  You do have to pay shipping, but that's so many free prints that I still think it's a great deal!

Just use offer code: XZD7-91JJ-H0HX-GA2ATC

Free food, Bam!

You can get Emeril's Bam Meals free at Publix right now.  The Bam Meals are on sale 5/$5 (same as 1/$1) and there are $1 off printable coupons available on Emeril's site.

Even if this is not something you would eat, it's always great to take any opportunity to pick up free canned food.   So easy to donate to a local food bank or homeless shelter.

Happy Miami Museum Month!

May is Miami Museum Month and it is a great time to play tourist in your own town and explore what Miami has to offer.

There are two main ways to enjoy Miami Museum Month.  The first, is a BOGO admission deal.  The second, is membership at any one of the participating museums is good for admission into all of them.

Never pay for....

Toothpaste!

This is a little more difficult if you are picky and only buy a specific toothpaste, but I am here to tell you that it could be worth trying something new.

Nearly every week there is a deal where you can get free toothpaste at one of the drugstores.  Right now, I have six sitting under my bathroom sink, which will last me for ages.  But, how can I pass up free (or even money makers?), so I keep getting more and donating them.

This week, free toothpaste is at CVS.  Colgate Maxclean, Smartfoam, MaxWhite or MaxFresh 6 oz is $2.77, and then you get $2.77 back in Extra Care Bucks.  Deal limit: 2, so grab them both.

Other hot deals at CVS this week:

Get $1 in Extra Care Bucks when you buy three bags of Frito-Lay chips, and the individual size bags are on sale, 3/$1.  Deal limit: 5 (which means 15 free bags!)

Get $1 in ECB when you buy Charmin - includes Charmin Basic 12 roll pack. Deal limit: 1

Get $5 in ECB when you buy 2 DSW $25 gift cards. Deal limit: 1
